Gardner: Trump is a saint compared to Clinton

You’ve probably heard the old joke about the campaign manager who bribed a preacher to call his candidate a saint. The following Sunday, the preacher began speaking about the candidate in the most derogatory language, bringing up case after case in which the candidate had lied, cheated and pilfered public coffers for personal gain. As he ended his diatribe, the preacher said, “but compared with his opponent, he’s a saint.”
America is not a kingdom, tribe or family business. We should not elect representatives because they are next in line. We should elect representatives because they represent our views and values. Until this presidential election, both parties operated as kingdoms, tribes or family businesses because that’s what both parties have become. Democrats are still marching in lock-step supporting Hillary Clinton because she’s a woman and she’s the next Democrat in line.

GARDNER: Trump mocking conservative movement

Republicans have witnessed a revolution with the nomination of Donald Trump. America’s conservative base rebelled against the GOP kingdom and nominated a billionaire Bubba. The Republican establishment is completely out of touch with conservative America and has no clue why conservatives are so mad at it. It believes the rabble base doesn't know how things work in Washington, when in fact the rabble do know how things work and are fed up with it.

GODFREY GARNER: Hold Clinton responsible for mishandling data

Hillary and Trump are both running on how bad the other candidate is. Trump has no political record to run on, and Clinton's record is fraught with blemishes, lies, deceit and complete failures. Nevertheless the vast majority of mainstream media continue to cover her faux pas with endless praise.
A few weeks ago FBI Director James Comey gave this assessment of Clinton's emails. “Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

Comey also said, “There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about those matters should have known an unclassified system was no place for that conversation.” And, “None of these emails should have been on any kind of unclassified system. The presence is especially concerning because all these emails were housed on unclassified personal servers, not even supported by full-time security staff like those found at agencies and departments of the United States government or even with a commercial email service like Gmail.”
About a week later Comey testified to a committee of Congress that Clinton had not told the truth about classified information being on her email servers, classified emails being marked classified on her servers, her sending classified emails from her private servers, her having more than one device for sending emails, and her failing to send thousands of work related emails to the State Department as required.
Clinton's email scandal is a global scandal because it hides all of her other scandals: Russia, Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Benghazi. What would emails documenting her interactions reveal about her policies, principles or values?
Do you share Clinton's views and values? Do you share Trump’s views and values? Or, do you plan to vote against one of them? Compared with Clinton, Trump is a saint.
